PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an air quantity, and to improve cooling performance. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric fan is provided with a fan 2 for sandwiching the base end part side of an elastic plate 5 between a pair of piezoelectric elements 4 and installing a vibrating plate 6 on the other end part side of the elastic plate 5, and a case 3 for internally housing the fan 2 in a state capable of vibrating the vibrating plate 6 while supporting the base end part side of the elastic plate 5 as a cantilever. The case 3 has respectively opening parts 11a, 11b and 11c on at least a side surface opposed to a base end part of the elastic plate 5, a side surface opposed to a tip part of the vibrating plate 6 and an upper surface opposed to a main surface of the vibrating plate 6, and among the opening part 11c of the upper surface, an area for covering 50% or less of the main surface of the vibrating plate 6 from the side surface opposed to the tip part of at least the vibrating plate 6 is shielded by a shielding plate 8. |
