HAIR DYE FOR GRAY HAIR AND METHOD FOR HAIR DYEING OF GRAY HAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dye having gray hair dyeing actions and further treatment effects on the hair and to provide a method for dyeing the hair. SOLUTION: This hair dye comprises 20-90 wt.% of a powder prepared by drying and pulverizing a leaf of Lawsonia inermis and 80-10 wt.% of a powder prepared by drying and pulverizing a leaf of Isatis indigotica. The method for dyeing the gray hair comprises applying a soft pasty hair dye paste for the gray hair prepared by kneading the hair dye with water to a part of a root of the hair in a wet or a dry state to be dyed toward the tip, covering the whole hair with a cover, allowing the hair in the covered state to stand for a prescribed time and then washing away the hair dye paste.
