PURPOSE: A split open type tailgate hinge is provided to regulate the height of a tailgate by forming a hanging projection on a hinge part. CONSTITUTION: The split open tailgate hinge comprises an upper hinge(30) provided with a hanging projection inward and bolted to a tailgate of a wagon, and a lower hinge(32) fitted with a checker plate(31), which contains a one-stage hanging projection and a two-stage hanging projection inward by a clip type flange, and bolted to a body panel, wherein the upper hinge(30) and the lower hinge(32) are connected by a coupling pin to open the tailgate through three stages. |
