PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new flame retardant polymer material having excellent flame retardancy and relatively little in the adverse effect on environment, and also provide an excellently flame retardant sheet, laminate, fiber, nonwoven fabric or the like using the same. SOLUTION: This polymer material comprises a polyester having 3,3',5,5'- tetraalkyl bi-phenol structural units in the repeated units and having excellent flame retardancy. |
