摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic method of a polyalkylene oxide in which an ester functional group can be introduced with high rate to the end of the polymer which can be easily obtained as a raw polymer. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polyalkylene oxide having an ester functional group is such that a reaction is made between a silylated chain-polyether shown by general formula (I) [wherein, m is an integer of 2-7, n is an integer making a number-average molecular weight of a polyether shown by formula (I) 500-500,000, and X1, X2 and X3 are selected from an equal or different, to each other, functional group or atom] and an acid-halide shown by the general formula: R1-C(O)X or XC(O)-R2-C(O)X (X shows a halogen atom, R1 and R2 show each a remaining group of a carbonic acid, respectively) to produce polyalkylene oxide shown by general formula (II) or (III).
