PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain in an easy process a foam improved in melting and deformation and not suffering from melt-dripping when burned using a styrenic resin which is a readily recyclable thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: The styrenic resin foam is obtained by melting with heat and expanding by a foaming agent a styrenic resin containing a monomer unit represented by general formula (A) (wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each selected among a hydrogen atom, a 1-8C alkyl group, a phenyl group and a halogen atom, and can be different from one another; m is an integer of 1-5; and n is an integer of 0-4.
