Interaction between a user and a computer (105) is encouraged by using an input device (135) including actuators (140) formed as three-dimensional representations of physical objects. Software running on the computer (105) receives an input signal generated by actuation of a particular actuator (140) by the user, and provides feedback to the user. The feedback is consistent with the particular physical object represented by the particular actuator (140). For example, if the particular actuator (140) represents a saw (215), the software causes the computer (105) to display an audio-visual sequence representative of movement of the saw (215). |
