PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an image unevenness being attributable to the pitch of groove by the conventional means of improving transportability of the developer by providing the number of grooves on the developer carrying surface of the developer carrier. SOLUTION: For this image forming device, the number of grooves are provided on the developer carrier, so as to establish a relation between traveling speed Vs of the developer carrier, and the pitch P (mm) of the grooves to the effect that the pitch P is >=2 times that of Vs/Vp. |
