PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which satisfies quality requirements such as the dimensional stability, flame resistance or the like with retaining high heat resistance, and especially includes an aromatic polyester resin as a main component. SOLUTION: The composition comprises (A) a fiber reinforcement (A component) covered with a surface coating agent which (i) comprises a compound containing epoxy group, (ii) has the amount of 0.1-2 wt.% with respect to the reinforcement of 100 wt.% and (iii) has the occurrence amount of fly waste of 10 g or less when the strands of the reinforcement of 200 g chopped at 3 mm length are placed in a 1 L beaker and stirred at 2,000 rpm for 5 minutes by a stirrer at 23 deg.C and (B) a thermoplastic resin (B component). Based on the composition of 100 wt.%, A component is 25-65 wt.% and B component is 10-75 wt.%.
