PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing the deterioration of an image by making image fluctuation and color shift inconspicuous. SOLUTION: A laser beam scanner 4 is equipped with a first sensor 20 and a second sensor 21 detecting a laser beam B at both ends of a photoreceptor 2 in a main scanning direction, and constituted so that the beam B transmitted through an fθ lens 13 is reflected by a 1st mirror 16 and a 2nd mirror 17, respectively, condensed by a first lens 18 and a 2nd lens 19 and made incident on the sensor. By performing scanning with the beam B, detection signals DETP1 and DETP2 are outputted from the first and the second sensors 20 and 21, respectively, and transmitted to a writing start position correction part 25. By utilizing a condition that an image writing start position in the main scanning direction is changed by controlling the timing of a laser beam scanning synchronizing signal (DETP1), the correction part 25 varies the timing of the laser beam scanning synchronizing signal from the measured result on a time difference between the signals DETP1 and DETP2 and corrects the image writing start position. |
