PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an heat exchanger, in which the performance is maintained in good condition by reducing the pressure loss of the refrigerant in the vicinity of the refrigerant outlet. SOLUTION: A plurality of tube elements 10, 10A and 10B are laminated to constitute the heat exchanger 1. Intermediate parts 14, 14A, and 14B of the elements 10, 10A and 10B are allowed to communicate in succession to each other to demarcate a refrigerant supply path 16. At least part of secondary side tanks 14, 14 and 14B in respective tube elements 10, 10A, and 10B are allowed to communicate successively to each other to demarcate a refrigerant return path 18. In a flange 23 for refrigerant inlet and outlet, there are provided a refrigerant inlet 21 in communication with a refrigerant-supply path 16 and a refrigerant outlet 22 placed in opposition to the refrigerant-return path 18 and in communication therewith.
