PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of vibration of a rotor. SOLUTION: In this closed rotary compressor for housing a compression part having a rotary roller 19 and a motor 3 for driving the roller 19 in a sealed case, the motor 3 is composed of at least the rotor 34 fixed to a rotary shaft 18 and having a magnet including a rare earth element on which a magnetic field acts from a coil part, a bearing 16 for rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 18 of the rotor 34 as a cantilever, and a flywheel 38 for allowing the center of gravity of the rotor 34 approach the bearing side 16. The roller 19 of the compression part is rotatably supported by the bearing on the opposite side of the rotor 34 of the bearing 16. Thus, the vibration of the rotor 34 can be restrained.
