PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display console usable by tilting it to an optional position where best visibility is ensured. SOLUTION: The scaling device measures weight of an analyte mounted on a scale pan set on the upper face of a main body housing, wherein a tilt mechanism 10 is provided on the backside of a display console 4 with its display part and operation part placed on the surface of a casing 7 to allow the display console 4 with the tile mechanism 10 installed freely-detachable against the main body housing. This enables a tilt angle of the display console 4 against the main body housing to be freely-adjustable when the display console 4 is installed in the main body housing. Also the display console 4 is freely-movable if it is disengaged from the main body housing.
