PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic clutch which can easily control transmission torque and is free from wear. SOLUTION: The hydraulic clutch disposed between a primary shaft and a secondary shaft which are arranged on the same axis comprises a casing transmittably coupled to the primary shaft, a gear pump arranged in the casing, an inlet passage formed in the casing and the secondary shaft and communicated with a suction port of the gear pump, an outlet passage formed in the casing and the secondary shaft and communicated with a discharge port of the gear pump, and a control valve which is arranged in the secondary shaft and controls the area of communication between the inlet passage and the outlet passage.
