摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of abnormal noise caused by flow of working liquid without causing man-hour and working cost increases in fitting process of valve elements. SOLUTION: An extension side damping force generating valve 60 which allows oil flow directing from an upper chamber 16 to a lower chamber 18 only comprises an extension side valve element 38 attached on a piston body 24 at central part on the side of the lower chamber and a plurality of extension side communicating holes 50A-50D which interconnects an annular groove 44 provided on a top face of the piston body 24 and the lower chamber 18. The extension side communicating holes are extending inclining to the axis 14 circumferentially, openings thereof at the annular groove 44 are arranged with equal spacing around the axis, and openings on the lower side of the piston are disposed symmetrically against a virtual straight line 58 perpendicular to the axis. A valve element 32 of a compression side damping force generating valve 62 which allows oil flow directing from the lower chamber to the upper chamber only is provided with a plurality of communicating holes 54A-54E which interconnects the upper chamber 16 and the annular groove 44, and these communicating holes are arranged with equal spacing around the axis 14.
