PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a liquid crystal display device such that the transmittance can be controlled to a desired value for various kinds of defective pixel mode such as bright defect or the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device for a liquid crystal display device contains a laser, a condenser lens system to condense the laser beam from the laser, and a means to scan and illuminate a specified display pixel of the liquid crystal display device with the condensed laser beam. By scanning the liquid crystal display device with laser beam to illuminate a defective region such as a bright defect or the like, the manufacturing device can decrease the transmittance in the defective region and can manufacture a liquid crystal display device having the defective region hardly visible. |
