PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amino resin composition for metal mold cleaning which removes dirt from the surface of a metal mold and solves the problems accompanying prior arts by incorporating a semidrying amino resin produced by a specific process or a semisolid mixture containing the same into a usually used thermosetting resin. SOLUTION: This composition contains 30-60 wt.% thermosetting resin and a semisolid amino resin having at least one hydroxymethyl group and a solid content of at least 75 wt.%. Therefore, the composition has a low viscosity, gives a powder improved in pelletizability, is excellent in moldability when used for cleaning the surface of a metal mold, exhibiting good metal mold cleaning effects, reduces the time necessary for cleaning a metal mold, has an advantage of being pelletized, and solves the problems that a conventional powder composition is hardly pelletized.
