PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel preventing degradation of sharpness due to laser light for excitation and improved in brightness. SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel is composed of a phosphor sheet layered with a reflection layer 13 on the support body 14, an excited light absorption layer A12 colored so as to absorb the excited light and a stimulable phosphor layer 11 in this order and a protection film 15 provided so as to cover the phosphor surface of the sheet. The protection film has a colored excited light absorption layer B. In each of the excited light absorption layers A and B, the absorbance for the peak wavelength of luminescence of stimulable phosphor is smaller than that for the peak wavelength of the excited light and the thicknesses of the excited light absorption layers A and B are A>B.
