PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sitting sensor of a lower cost, excellent in durability, and immune to the effect of a sheet such as a cushion which is applicable independent of the form of a seat cushion and the like used for a sit-on part of a seat. SOLUTION: The setting sensor is provided to the seat of an automobile, comprising first and second sensor parts 1 and 2 for detecting a load. The sensor parts 1 and 2 are provided in lines, oriented in back-and-fourth direction, with a prescribed interval, in lateral direction, at a sit-on part 4 of the seat on which the hip and femoral region of a human body are placed.
