PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an increase in the loss of pump power caused by formation of a closed pump chamber R, while also avoiding pulsation of hydraulic pressure and rattling noises, without reducing hydraulic pressure delivered to a portion to which it is fed. SOLUTION: At a first suction port A, a pump housing 23 is provided with a pocket or a through hole 23b which does not pass through ports A, B and C at the same time, and a drive rotor 22 is provided with a plurality of channels or passages 22b which communicate the pocket or the through hole 23b with the instantaneously closed pump chamber R from the time just before the instantaneously closed pump chamber R is closed until the pump chamber R communicates with the second suction port B, and which do not communicate with the ports A, B and C at the same time nor communicate with one another.
