PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which easily carries out operation of improving finished state of packaging. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus is provided with a packaging mechanism which covers the upper surface of an article to be covered with a film by upward pressing of a lifter from under the film in a state that the end part of the film sent to a packaging station is clamp and held and which tucks the end part of film into the bottom surface of the article to be packaged. This packaging mechanism is provided with a displaying device 10 for displaying a plurality of examples of finished states of packaging and the setting of operating timing of packaging can be changed at every selected package state by selection of one of the examples of the finished states 10a-10e of packaging illustrated before.
