PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling property of a handling device sheet by sheet for taking a printing plate out of a cassette. SOLUTION: In a sucker unit, time t1 till a suction cup is lowered at fixed speed from a hole position toward a bottom plate of the cassette and the bottom plate is detected by a contact sensor and moving amountΔy of the suction cup till the suction cup sucks the bottom plate after the contact sensor detects the bottom plate are measured. Subsequently, a separating position for the home position is set from space of the bottom plate of the cassette and a separation plate and space required for curving a photopolymer plate with a proper curvature between the photopolymer plate and the separation plate. By taking out the photopolymer plate based on the set result, the photopolymer plate can be surely taken out, simplifying a position adjustment for the suction cup when assembling the sucker unit.
