PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin having a new structure and excellent in wear resistance, in particular extremely superior in surface slip characteristic comparing with ordinary polycarbonates or polyester, and also provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor good in electric property and excellent in mechanical strengths and slipperiness obtained by using the polyester resin. SOLUTION: This polyester resin has a polysiloxane structure at least a part of polymer terminals.
