PURPOSE: A mortar composition comprising mineral which is sericite generated from ore dressing, charcoal, yellow earth and cement, and the bricks made of the composition are provided, which has far infrared emission, sterilization, deodorization, and soundproofing. CONSTITUTION: The mortar composition is obtained by mixing 90-110pts.wt. of sericite, 15-25pts.wt. of alumina cement using bauxite as a main material, 200-300pts.wt. of yellow earth, 0.1-0.2pt.wt. of charcoal powder, and 8-12pts.wt. of water, wherein the particle sizes of sericite and yellow earth, and charcoal are less than 5mm and less than 3mm, respectively. The brick(10) produced by forming the composition and drying has a groove(12) on its lower part and a pierced hole(11) in width and length, respectively, which results in forming of an air-path between bricks for hot/cold insulation.
