PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamfering apparatus for a pipe capable of automatic chamfering and applicable even to pipes with different diameters. SOLUTION: This chamfering apparatus 10 for chamfering the cut surface 11a of the cut pipe 11, is provided with a cutting section 70 having a file 73 abutting on the end edge of the cutting surface 11a disposed like apex ridges of a multi-pyramid, and a rotating section 60 for rotating the cutting section 70 while energizing it against the cutting surface 11a.
