The invention relates to a wiper device, in particular, for wiping vehicle windows. Said wiper device comprises a joining element (13) for joining the spring rails (23, 25) and the wiper blade rubber element to the wiper arm, whereby the joining element comprises two facing accommodating slots (19, 21), which are accessible from the joining underside and which are provided for accommodating the opposing longitudinal sides of the spring rails. The invention is characterized in that the joining element is provided as one piece and that the distance of the slot bottom of the one accommodating slot from the slot limb of the other accommodating slot, said slot limb facing the window, is as large as or slightly greater than the sum of the widths s of both spring rails and of the distance d' of both spring rails pressed together in a direction toward one another.
