PURPOSE: A switch device for air conditioner is provided to prevent free horizontal movement and rotation of an operational switch in a multi-key during operation. CONSTITUTION: A device includes an operation button(130); a joining member(140); and a contacting member(155). The operation button has function buttons(110) integrally formed and a fixing hole(125) on a periphery thereof and is inserted into a hole formed on a center of a cover member(120). The joining member has a fixing protrusion(135) to prevent defacement of the operation button, forcibly inserted therein, from the hole of the cover member. The contacting member has a contacting piece(145) to transmit operation of the function buttons and the operation button to a base plate and a pair of fixing projections(150) on a center thereof to be inserted and fixed to the fixing hole of the operation button.
