PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temperature rise of a material to be crushed or the melting of waste plastic from occurring even when a crushing rotor is rapidly rotated. SOLUTION: This crushing device comprises the crushing with a crushing blade 21 rotor 22 which is freely rotatable and a fixed blade 30 arranged oppositely to the crushing rotor 22, inside a crushing chamber 10 for storing the material to be crushed. In addition, the material to be crushed which has already been crushing by a shearing action between the crushing blade 21 and the fixed blade 30, is discharged to the outside of the crushing chamber 10 from a gap between the outer peripheral face of the crushing rotor 22 and the fixed blade 30. Further, inside the crushing rotor 22, a flow path for cooling water W which cools either of the crushing rotor 22 or the crushing blade 21 is formed.
