PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave therapeutic instrument capable of reducing adverse influence on neighboring persons and electric equipment and improving heating efficiency. SOLUTION: When a human body absent state continues for more than 5 minutes (S9), output is controlled to lower (for example, 20 W) than microwave output (50 W) in therapy (S11). When a state of indicating the human body absent state continues for more than 5 minutes (S23), it is regarded as absence of a patient, and electric power supply to an oscillating part 2 is stopped (S25).
