PURPOSE: A linear gain control amplifier is provided, which is embodied easily with a standard CMOS process and is made as an IC. CONSTITUTION: A compensation circuit part(100) outputs the first control voltage(VCTRL) which has a stable and exponential characteristics as to a variation of a temperature and a power supply voltage according to a control signal(CTL) and the second control voltage(VCTRL') related to the first control voltage, and gains of the first and the second control voltage are compensated. A variable gain amplifier part(200) outputs an amplification signal(OUT1) by gain-controlling an input signal(IN) according to the first control voltage and also maintains a gain of the amplification signal constantly as to the input signal even if a power supply voltage(VDD) is varied. And a driver amplifier part(300) amplifies the amplification signal to a high level signal.
