PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die wherein a gas generated at the time of molding can be efficiently and surely discharged, and also, the weight of a movable side die can be reduced, and in addition, the workability for cleaning can be improved. SOLUTION: This molding die is equipped with a fixed side die 10 having a fixed side die member 11, the movable side die 20 having a movable side die member 21, a cavity 8 which is formed on a PL surface between the fixed side die member and the movable side die member, and a gas purging gap 9 which is formed on the PL surface in a manner to communicate with the cavity. Also, a die clamping ring member 14 is attached to the fixed side die in such a manner that it may locate on the outer peripheral side of the fixed side die member and the movable side die member when the fixed side die and the movable side die are clamped, and may remain on the fixed side die when the movable side die is separated from the fixed side die. In addition, a gas purging hole 14a is provided in a manner to be arranged on an approximately straight line to the gas-purging gap.
