PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance stimulus and a drowse preventive effect or the like by alternately repetitively imparting cooling stimuli and warming stimuli to the head. SOLUTION: This device is provided with cooling and warming sections 5 and 5' including Peltier elements and a control means for alternately repeating the cooled state of the Peltier elements and the warmed state of these elements. The control means is provided with a current direction changeover switch 20 for changing over the Peltier elements to the cooling state and the warming state and a timer circuit 28 for delivering a changeover signal to this switch 20 at every specified time and alternately changing over the cooling and warming sections 5 and 5' to the cooling state and the warming state. The cooling and warming sections 5 and 5' are made mountable at the head.
