PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a tilting position of a headrest easily. SOLUTION: A base bracket 40 located on a headrest 3 supporting the passenger's head is supported by a centeral part 32 of a stay 30 through a ratchet mechanism 50 as the base bracket 40 can rotate and catch. The ratchet mechanism 50 is engaged by a force applied by a spring 60 mounted between the base bracket 40 and the stay 30. When the headrest 3 is operated against the power applied by the spring 60, the ratchet mechanism 5 is released, and the headrest 3 starts to rotate for the stay 30.
