PURPOSE: A device for changing stiffness of a stabilizer in a vehicle is provided to increase a control range of various frequency and to improve steering safety. CONSTITUTION: A device for changing stiffness of a stabilizer comprises a piston(3) moving in a cylinder(1); ball joints(7,9) connected to a stabilizer and a lower arm by being separately mounted on an end portion of a piston rod(5) and an end portion of the cylinder; a bypass passage(11) arranged on an upper portion of the cylinder; an electromagnet(15) installed between upper and lower portions of the bypass passage; a pressure sensor(16) detecting pressure of MR(Magneto-rheological) fluid(13); a control unit driving the electromagnet; an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(17) receiving input of the pressure sensor; an amplifier(19) supplying electric current into the electromagnet according to a control signal of the ECU; and an accumulator(21) filled with gas by a diaphragm.
