PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience that pulley wires are buckled or cut off because the pulley wires pulled out to a side opposite to a drawing side is rotated excessively at the tip curving operation of an endoscope and an endoscope appliance. SOLUTION: At a pulley 23 for drawing the pulley wires 22a and 22b in the form of winding them by rotating in accordance with the rotational operation of an angle operation knob, a notch part 29 of a prescribed length along the rotary shaft 23a of the pulley 23 is formed. Then, the respective stoppers 27a and 27b of the angle wires 22a, 22b are arranged slidably with respect to this part 29. Thus the bent parts of the pulley wires trying to bend in accordance with angle operation can be absorbed by the part 29, the pulley wires are prevented from being buckled or cut off.
