PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod support device which can simply and surely carry out an angle adjustment operation for a fishing rod receiver supporting fishing rod and can stably support a fishing rod. SOLUTION: This fishing rod support device comprises a main frame 1 having a pair of holders 3, 4 whose outside portion has a forked shape, and further having inward projected support shafts 5, 6 in the other side portion of the holders, and a rod receiver 2 which comprises a main body 9 having receiving holes 16, 17 capable of fitting to the support shafts and capable of being rotated on the support shafts, fixing means 10 disposed in the main body ands the holders of the main frame and used for positioning the rotation of the main body, a support 11 whose base portion is rotatably attached to the main frame and whose other portion has a pair of fishing rod-hooking members 26, 27 for being brought into contact with the upper and lower outer peripheral surfaces of the butt section of the fishing rod to support the fishing rod b, and an adjustment means 12 which is disposed on the support to adjust the rotation angle of the support to the main body.
