HOLLOW DISCHARGE TYPE PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A hollow discharge type plasma display panel is provided to improve efficiency and luminance of AC type plasma display panel by forming a hollow discharge space. CONSTITUTION: A front electrode glass plate(1) is formed as an upper layer. A rear electrode phosphor plate(9) is formed as a lower layer. An intermediate phosphor plate(5) is formed as an intermediate layer. A front ring-shaped electrode(2) and a front ring-shaped electrode connection line(3) are formed on the front electrode glass plate(1). A transparent electrode(4) is formed within a ring-shaped band of the front ring-shaped electrode(2). A dielectric and a protective layer are formed thereon. The intermediate phosphor plate(5) has a first discharge space(19). A phosphor(6) is coated on the inside of the first discharge space(19). A rear ring-shaped electrode(7) and a rear ring-shaped electrode connection line(8) are formed on the rear electrode phosphor plate(9). The dielectric and the protective layer are formed thereon. The phosphor(6) is coated within a ring-shaped band of the rear ring-shaped electrode(7).
