METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUBSTITUTE WOOD

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing substitute wood is provided to prevent the damage of wildwood by utilizing waste chaff, to reduce the cost of construction, and to achieve wood material having good elasticity and heat-resistance properties. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing substitute wood comprises the steps of; (S10) mixing chaff as a main material with an adhesive; (S20) forming the substitute wood by charging the mixture into a mold heated up to a desired temperature and compressing it by applying a vertical pressure; (S30) drying the molded substitute wood by applying infrared rays of a desired temperature; and (S40) cooling the substitute wood.
