PURPOSE: A solvent composition for hydraulic transfer is provided, which is used to activate a printing layer of a hydraulic transfer film having a printing design on a water-soluble or water-swallowable base film, by giving adhesive power. CONSTITUTION: The solvent composition comprises 45-90 wt% of an organic solvent; 5-35 wt% of a polyol-based polymer resin; and 1-20 wt% of a phthalate-based plasticizer. Preferably the organic solvent is a mixture comprising aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, ethers and acetic esters. Preferably the polyol-based polymer resin has a gardner viscosity of U-Z3, a gardner color standards of maximum 2, and an acid value of 1-5, and contains a solid component by 45-70 wt%; and the plasticizer is selected from the group consisting of dimethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, ditridecyl phthalate, and their mixtures. |
