PURPOSE: An antismoking tobacco using lettuce and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to naturally prohibit smoking, thus reducing the generation of disease due to the smoking. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method for the antismoking tobacco comprises the steps of: washing pure lettuce with clean water; steaming the washed lettuce for 30 to 60 seconds with water vapor of more than 100deg.C; drying the steamed lettuce until its moisture content becomes 13 to 20 percent; forming the dried lettuce into a paper form; cutting the paper type lettuce into a desired size; and rolling the cut lettuce pieces and a filter with a paper.
