<p>A controlled device (103) having controlled objects (function units) therein comprises selection means (109) for allowing the user to select a desired one out of the function units of the controlled device so as to select a controlled object intended by the user when the controlled device receives a control command including no information specifying that which function unit is the controlled object. Therefore, the controlled device (103) instructs the selection means (109) to prompt the user to select a function unit as a controlled object, and the selected function unit is made a controlled object of the controlled device (103) if it receives a control command including no information specifying that which function unit in the controlled device is controlled.</p> |
