<p>A method of detecting a hydroxyproline and a kit for the detection. The kit comprises a solid phase and fixed thereto either 4-chloro-7-nitrobenzofurazane or 4-fluoro-7-nitrobenzofurazane and further contains a buffer, etc. A sample containing a hydroxyproline is reacted with the kit and the resultant reaction product is examined for characteristic fluorescence (or absorption). Thus, the hydroxyproline is rapidly and easily detected with high sensitivity.</p> |
