The top (3) and bottom (4) stringer are joined by a deflector section (5). Guide rollers (6) in the top stringer run on continuous fixed surfaces (7). The track width between the guide rollers on the left and right hand side of the chain can be altered while the chain is moving. The vertical distance between the runner surfaces for guiding the top stringer from the depositing surface (8) for the bottom stringer is less than the diameter of the deflection curve in the deflector part. The guide rollers lift up from the runner surfaces. |
