PURPOSE: An electronic commerce system using a wireless communication and a method for operating the same are provided to perform an electronic commerce by using a wireless terminal and a wireless communication network. CONSTITUTION: An electronic commerce control server(14) controls an electronic commerce between a buyer and a seller connected through a wire communication network(12) or a wireless communication network, respectively. At least one seller terminal(18) is connected through the wireless communication network(14), supplies information of a commodity to be sold and sale condition information to the electronic commerce control server(14), and included in a seller. At least buyer terminal(10) is connected through the wire communication network(12), inquires commodity information to be sold by the seller from the electronic commerce control server(14), and included in a buyer. The electronic commerce control server(14) transmits buying condition data being transmitted from the buyer terminal(10) to the seller terminal(18), and transmits selling condition data being transmitted from the seller terminal(10) to the buyer terminal(10), respectively, for a negotiation of a buying(or selling) condition between the seller terminal(18) and the buyer terminal(10).
