[Class 87 (ii)] Condensers, resistances, and other objects are provided with a container or covering of thermoplastic material by placing the article 4 in a cavity 3 in a two-part mould 1 and injecting melted thermoplastic material through one or more pairs of diametrically-opposed orifices 5, 6 in the mould. The material is injected under pressure and enters the mould in the form of a spray. The article is centred or located in the mould by the opposed pressures of the material. The pressures of the material may be varied by forming the orifices 5..8, 11..16 of different diameters. |
