Method of transiting activating instructions to dynamic random access memory (DRAM)

First activating instructions are transmitted to the DRAM and those transmitted within a time period are counted. The number of instructions is determined w.r.t. exceeding a threshold value. On determined excess within the time period the activating rate is reduced.Pref. the threshold value is based on a temp. limit for reliable operation of the DRAM. The activating instructions are transmitted within the time period in intervals smaller than a max. RRD interval, but not smaller than a min. tRRD interval. Independent claims are included for the DRAM, a memory system, and method of transmitting line (ROW) instructions.
