<p>The invention provides a small, lightweight piezoelectric actuator; a drive method for providing a large displacement at low voltage using such a piezoelectric actuator; and a small, lightweight information storage for high-density recording, which includes such a piezoelectric actuator to drive a head with a small moment of inertia.
