According to the present invention it is proposed an improved composition which inhibits corrosion and the blisters made by hydrogen for gas sweetening units with alkanolamines, whose main compounds are an ethoxylated polyamide and an imidazoline salt both soluble in water and in alkanolamines aqueous solutions. The composition object of the present invention moreover contains specific surfactant agents to avoid the foaming of the solutions in the acid gases absorption circuit and amine regeneration in the sweetening gas units.
