TREATMENT OF HYPERPROLIFERATIVE DISEASES WITH EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR ANTAGONISTS

A method is provided for treating a mammal with hyperproliferative disease stimulated by a ligand of epidermal growth factor receptor. The method includes administering an effective amount of an antagonists of a member of the EGF family of receptors. The method also includes administering an EGFR antagonist together with a chemotherpeutic agent, phototherpay, radiation therapy, or any combination thereof.
