PURPOSE: A home page producing method is provided to separate a home page producing screen into a main window and an auxiliary widow, and to move necessary control boxes, for setting various functions, from the auxiliary window to the main window over the internet by using a drag and drop operation with a mouse so that it can simply produce a home page. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a service site over the internet(S2), the user executing a home page producing program(S4), then the service site displaying the main window and the auxiliary window(S6), the user moving control boxes from the auxiliary window to the main window by using a drag and drop operation with a mouse(S8), the program sending a message to the main window, and converting the control boxes into HTML source codes according to the message(S10), the program checking if the drag and drop operations are completed(S12), and if they are completed, the program transmitting the HTML source codes to the service site(S14). The message includes a control name and a point. The point is a position where the user finally releases the mouse in a drag and drop operation.
